January 16th: Why I started blogging.

Hi readers,

As you may know from my previous posts, I’m a pretty sentimental person. So I thought I would remind myself why I started blogging.

I started blogging because I have been following bloggers for a long time. I always thought it looked fun and a means of escape. It looked like a positive thing to do for yourself.

It took a lot of confidence for me to start. But I’m so glad I’ve now done it. It’s something I can see myself doing for a long time,

1st January 2021: First blog post of the year, and my goals for 2021.

Hi readers,

So here it is it’s 2021 and my first blog post. I’m excited about what this year entails.

Last year I didn’t set any goals, so I thought it would get the year to a good start. Here a few ideas that I would like to achieve during this year,

  • Blog– Practice and hopefully get better at blogging.
  • Drink water- My goal is to drink a litre of water a day.
  • Read more– Set myself more free time for reading.
  • Practice knitting– Find some knitting projects and practice.
  • Exercise- Set myself an achievable workout plan.

Have you set any goals for 2021?

How things are at the moment, getting through the day seems like a goal achieved. Take every day as it comes is something I strongly live by.

December 31st: Goodbye 2020 and Happy New Year!

Just wanted to do a quick post to say Happy New year!

This year I’m going to have a quiet new year’s eve. I’m going to watch television, put on a skincare facemask and maybe a Malibu and lemonade (or two)

December 11th: My goals for December.

Hi readers,

This evening, I’ve been reflecting and trying to decide what my goals are for this last month of 2020.

1. Try not to spend to much .

2. Appreciate my family, and the things some others may not have.

3. Try not to eat too unhealthy (difficult)

4. Make time for me.

5. Try not to get to stressed.

At the moment, I think the main thing is taking everything one step at a time.

December 2nd: The gifts I’ve given with the best response.

Hi readers,

I’ve been reflecting on some of the best responses to gifts people have received.

1) Olaf pyjamas- My cousin picked then up and shouted: “I love them!” She’s a massive Olaf fan.

2) Canvas picture of our family- Mum asked me for one of these for a long time. She said she nearly cried when she received it.

3) Vinyl player- My dad enjoyed listening to his old records again.

4) Kindle- My Dad enjoyed his first bit of technology.

5) Personalised CD- My boyfriend has long journeys to work so appreciated a CD of his favourite songs.

November 14th: £55 million raised for Children in Need 2020

Hello readers!

Was delighted to find out that Children in Need managed, to raise a whopping £55 million last night.

It’s a record-breaker for the most money raised apparently. One positive from coronavirus, I think is its making people more charitable and grateful for what they have.

I’m sure the money will go to deserving causes. Every penny makes a difference when it comes to charity.

I assume Joe Wicks is taking a rest after his 24-hour session. He’s a money-raising machine! £1.5 million raised.
