So it’s been a while since I’ve done a book review. I’ve just finished reading the silent daughter. This book is available on Kindle Unlimited.
The silent daughter features Sadie Kelly, a teacher at a school with a haunting past. Suddenly, a school-girl she teaches goes missing. Will she cope with the secrets revealed to her. How will Sadie cope when she realises someone knows her secrets?
This book has unexpected twists and turns. I like how this book addressees lots of sensitive subjects (mental health etc). In my opinion, this makes the story seem real and relatable.
However many good points. It is still another book that wouldn’t be a stand out to me. Even though I did still like it.
I would recommend this book to someone who enjoys a good page-turner with lots of suspense.
I’ve recently just finished everything we keep by Kerry Lonsdale, so I thought I would do a book review.
This book is currently available on kindle unlimited.
Aimee a chef due to be married seems to have a perfect life. However, life is turned upside down when her fiancee James dies in an accident abroad. Then a mysterious lady approaches Aimee at James’s funeral, warning her that there are things she needs to discover.
Hi readers! So today is my dog Mollys birthday. So to celebrate I thought I would do the furry friend tag.
1.What is your pet’s name? Molly.
2. What kind of pet is it and what breed? She’s a dog and Staffordshire Bull Terrier.
3. Where did you get him/her? We got her from the local rescue centre.
4. What are some quirky things about your pet’s personality? She gets excited whenever she sees anyone. She will lay down the greet them.
5. What does your relationship with your pet mean to you? A lot, where I don’t have siblings she’s kind of like a sibling. She didn’t have the best start in life, so the bond is there and strong.
6. What are the nicknames that you call your pet? Molly-moo and Licker (because she kisses all the time)
7. How long have you had your pet? 5 and a half years.
8. Does your pet know any tricks? Sit, speak, wait, paw, play dead and roll over. She knows what walk, dinner and treats means.
9. What is your pets favourite toy? Squeaky ball.
10. Has your pet destroyed anything? She used to chew pretty bad. She’s destroyed hairbrushes and magazines.
11. How would your pet react to an intruder in your house? Probably greet them and get excited (vicious I know)
12. What is your pet’s favourite treat? Anything.
13. Can your pet swim? I’m not sure I’ve never tested her.
14. Do you crate your pet? No.
15. What is one negative thing about your pet? She is sometimes very clingy.
16. Does your pet sleep in bed with you? No.
17. Who does your pet love most? Me, of course.
18. Does your pet have a 4 legged BFF? She has lots of friends in the area. My nan’s dog is the one she’s probably been with most.
19. Do you dress your pet up? No. Unless you would say a coat for when it’s raining or cold dressing up.
20. If you could get another pet, what would it be and why? I don’t think I would get another pet. I’m pretty happy with just Molly.
So this is my book review of the day she came back by Amanda Prowse. This book is available on Kindle unlimited.
Brief description of this book.
Victoria’s world is turned upside down when her Grandmother Prim dies. Then when a woman comes forward, claiming to be Victoria’s mother. Victoria finds this hard to believe. She has always been told her mother had died. How will she cope?
So here’s the day I turn twenty-two. Crazy how last year I arranged a party and travelled. Things may be a lot quieter this year, but it doesn’t mean I’m going to be less positive to what the year brings.
Happy birthday to anyone also celebrating a lockdown birthday this month.
As you may know from my previous posts, I’m a pretty sentimental person. So I thought I would remind myself why I started blogging.
I started blogging because I have been following bloggers for a long time. I always thought it looked fun and a means of escape. It looked like a positive thing to do for yourself.
It took a lot of confidence for me to start. But I’m so glad I’ve now done it. It’s something I can see myself doing for a long time,
Sorry haven’t been blogging that often just been so busy,
I’ve just finished a book, which is also available on kindle unlimited.
The genres of this book are romance novel, new adult fiction and contemporary romance.
This book is full of drama and left me wondering what was going to happen next. It features a nineteen-year-old girl Francesca, who is the daughter of a Mob boss. Then her world is turned upside down when she is forced to marry but is the Senator as bad as he seems.
I would recommend this book. I managed to read it pretty quickly. It seemed just the right length for me.
